and I love what I do for a living. I believe that web industry is one of the most creative in the world and it is great being a part of it. My work can potentially be seen by millions of people.
How cool is that?
I’ve been designing for digital media for over 7 years now but I began my career by spending a year as a junior print designer. I decided that the web looked like a really interesting way to go. I’d like to think I was right, as today the web is a fantastic industry.
I’ve worked as a media developer for an e-learning company, getting to grips with flash and actionscript. I taught myself html and css by trial and error and reading everything I could about it and then moved from e-learning to web design. Since then I’ve continued to absorb everything the web has to offer a designer, and learned from some of the best designers out there thanks to things like Twitter.
As a designer I’m keen on all things webby, but in particular I’m into the Mobile Web, decent typography/fonts and Web Accessibility & Standards.
As a person I love spending time with my wife and three cats, collecting tattoos, all things foody & cooking and a decent proper beer.
I’m a sociable type, so go say hello, or find me over here. If you need a copy of my CV, give me a shout and I’ll send one across quite happily…
